should you always send the recording of your demo or only send it if a client asks for it?

Here's my recommendation (what's worked for my team and myself) of when you should send the demo recording:

>>> If there were multiple people scheduled for the demo but couldn’t make it.

⬇️Benefits⬇️

✅ Builds Credibility - other people that needed to be on the call but couldn’t will love that you thought about them.

✅ Lightens the Workload - instead of your prospect having to remember the demo for their team, they can piggy back off of your recording.

✅ Provides Context - without a recorded demo, a lot of valuable information can be lost when your prospect debriefs with their team.

I would say always offer it during and only send it if they want it. Definitely always record just in case, but I don't send every one.

Agree with this. I always have the intention of sending it but I’ll use it to follow up with a Q

If they want it, otherwise it could take a future outreach attempt away as a response getter

Why send the recording if it provides no value and they won't revisit it. I consider this spam/clutter.

If you reach back out to me, it better be a detailed follow-up email, next steps, info I requested, etc...

Technically I think recording should only be allowed if they've consented

I only record if they’ve asked me to...and then will obviously send it.
