Sales Director knows it.
Sales Managers know it.
Sales Enablement knows it.
I have been overperforming in my role since I jumped into my org, and I set some direct expectations from the get-go.
7 months into this position and asking for that promo already.
But in my defense we have 2 empty territories at the moment that make up approx 16 states, AND we just fired a new hire because he was essentially falsifying all his metrics and collecting a salary paycheck LOL.
I hit up the CRO thursday evening;
"we've yet to chat, I spoke with XYZ and ABC and QRS and NOP and blah blah blah--dropped some stats; pointed out the empty terries, and then straight up said; "just kinda waiting around to say "how high" for when you to tell me to jump. The way I see it, we shouldn't let these potential opps go to waste or spend more resources hiring externally for this role."
Next day he hits me up and basically says "You are 100% correct."
"let's finish out the quarter and talk early july"
Wish me luck on my first closed won CRO.
