one thing that I've noticed is a big trend is on LinkedIn people talking about putting down alcohol.
I think it's good thing and I encourage people to do what they must to live healthy lives and be their best selves.
I don't drink nearly as much as I used to (approaching my 30s), but I don't feel the need to shove it out completely because I've never had a problem and always kept it under control.
but at the same time I don't make friends, colleagues and business partners feel bad if they don't subscribe to my way of thinking. as long as you have your shit together, you're not an asshole about it and you're happy I don't care.
but I'm starting to notice it's almost becoming like how people used to treat smokers in the early 2000s and people are starting to shame people who drink on LinkedIn and push their beliefs on others. I hate people like that.
I just find it funny that for a platform where people encourage people being themselves, betting on themselves and prioritizing your passions - that it can be so damn judgy and preachy.
