Remote BDR here based on the west coast. I block off two hours for my cold calling time between 7-9 am since I work east coast hours, but the company is global(EMEA) and schedules meetings constantly at this time, like 3 days a week. I've told my manager I need those hours, but he says I need to be a part of them to be on them for the sake of building "culture" in the workplace.
I'm two months into my new role and my second BDR role and I'm hitting quota, but I'm missing prime calling hours cuz of this teambuilding/zoom 20 questions shit and I don't know how to convey to my team that I need those hours to do my job? How would you go about conveying this is a non-douchey manner?
