To be AI or not to be AI?

I'm a fan of personalized emails, not the automated stuff.
I am not a fan of AI email marketing. My past company, they did the same. There was plethora of errors that happened, the burden came down on Data Enrichment team and the repercussions were bad. The BDRs / SDRs / AEs then had to undo the damage on the accounts and leads. So, my experience wasn't good.
AI can be super junky and spotty I think.
I've never gotten the AI to sound as natural as I'd like. Still sounds too fake
We really are getting to a place where AI will be talking to AI while we're at the beach or something, aren't we?
I hate automated emails but it depends upon the nature of business the company is in.
