Tradeshows and Events

Yo friends,


How may trade-shows and events do you guys go to now a days? More/less or same since COVID.


For context, we used to go to a ton and they were very lucrative, but peeled back big time a while back. Just wondering if the trade-show crowd seems to have resurfaced in your mighty opinions.

I just got back from one, and judging by the level of success we saw from it, I would say we will be going pretty trade show heavy for the rest of the year.

They are coming back and it feels good. I think you’ll sell a pretty sizable uptick in events this year and going forward. People have their shots and/or want to live with the risk.

I haven't been to one in so long. But used to love them, never understood why people hated on them. You get to travel for free, drink and eat for free, skip the event and go to Six Flags for free to "meet clients", rent (and crash) and Ferrari for free, do coke under a bridge for free, forget you have a wife and kids at home for free, start a new family for free... I mean what is there to not like!

I've been to a few in the past 6 months and have about 8 trips booked this year, of which 4 are trade shows.

The transition to online meetings is great, but nothing beats the lead gen and rapport building of face to face meetings.
