TripActions AE role?

Anyone in here work at TripActions in the Bay Area and have any insights to share? Getting hit up on LinkedIn for a MM AE role and am considering making the move. Looks like a quickly growing company which can sometimes mean good things or bad things.

They fired the majority of their sales org in one swoop on a zoom call when the pandemic hit, including a few people I know. Personally that would make me weary. They do have a solid product.

Personally I'd avoid corporate travel companies. I don't think it'll ever fully recover.

Idk anyone that works there but we used them for our travel pre pandemic and it works well so product market fit seems solid. Its way better than any other travel expense platform Ive used.

They had to layoff something like 50% of their staff when COVID hit and they are currently rebuilding the teams since travel is back. Personally I've only heard good things and don't think the layoffs are a negative but something to be conscious of for sure. Aside from that they seem to be the leader there.

Can you put on a wig and disguise yourself as the "new intern Jerry" to spend a day in the office?

They'll just think he's part of "Undercover Boss".

But maybe that would be a good thing.

Late response here, but I just had a preliminary interview with them and am curious what you mean by this. Can you expand on what you mean and also how you know? Would be very much appreciated!
