TV in home office?

Anyone have a TV mounted in their home office? I’ve been considering, but worried it might be too much of a distraction

Just because you install it doesn't mean you have to turn it on 🤷‍♀️

I used to sit in complete silence bc of my ADHD. So I've been experimenting a little with low music in the background or CNBC low in the background.  I still got things done, and I didn't feel overstimulated or distracted.

I personally wouldn’t, just because I feel the office should be a place solely to get shit done

Do it! Doing admin during the Tour de France is really fun!

Soccer and baseball are good background sports. Not much happens so you don't need to watch too closely. But the background noise can be nice.

Yup. Stocks and sports gambling are great side incomes.

I get tired of hearing my own voice all day so a tv in there with me helps keep me sane

I would absolutely do it. Keep on a relevant channel in the background. It can be a really good segue when you're calling a prospect, especially if it's a current event that pertains to them.

If you're in a good position at your current role, I'd think twice about starting new. I waited until I was at my absolute wits end before turning in my notice.
