Visting prospects without an invite?

I am going to Dreamforce and I am planning to stop by a prospects office with a small gift along with a hand written note asking for a meeting and then leave.

Does this sound like a terrible idea?

Is 7 am and no coffee yet, so pardon me if this message looks weird

They are a client, you have a right to do so.

Suppose it can't hurt. But make sure you have everything planned out (e.g. if the person is on vacation, if they come out to say hi, etc.) Don't want it to blow up in your face if you end up getting 10 minutes with the CEO and don't know what to say.

I like it. It's bold. Sometimes, that is what is needed. I think your setup here is perfect, non-creepy.
Good luck.

Absolutely, doing a "drop in" is super common. Don't expect to get their time right when you walk in, and always bonus points if you bring them a gift or coffee

I have made an edit, prospects, not clients - these are some hard to get accounts that have not picked up my calls and emails

This was highly common before building security got widespread, It does still occur today as well. Personally don't see an issue with doing so.
