What are some ways for your prospects to be heard in your interactions?

I’ll go first

The CLAW philosophy is simple and powerful. Simple in that it focuses the SDR on four key areas around self-identification and acumen development.

  • Credibility
  • Likability
  • Authenticity
  • Well-Timed

Whenever sales pros like SDRs or Account Executives speak, they are “performing.” What they say is always judged by those listening. Judged for credibility, authenticity, relevance, etc. And not only the content mind you. The delivery as well will be judged for energy, sincerity, and resonance.

No matter how much they like you, your solution, etc., if they don't have a need for your solution and/or are locked into a long term contract, they're not going to buy.

So timing trumps everything else.

To your point, everything else is in service of building a relationship with a prospect, which is critical but perhaps more important for AEs and AMs than BDR/SDR.

It's always likability first. If someone does not like me, chances of them trusting me would be so so low!
So Likability would come first, then authenticity, yes. I need to be my true self, and not talk in jargons like a bot. I need to talk like I talk to someone professionally.

The right wavelength. The questions they ask need to align with the answers I give.

If you want your prospects to be heard, stop talking and listen. Not sure if that's what you're getting at or what CLAW has to do with the question you asked.

How do you keep yourself motivated under pressure? Yes, I've heard of the usual responses like "finding your why" & "aligning yourself", etc. But I just want to get to the meat of the solution. Are there any specific tactics you guys use to keep yourselves motivated?
