Discipline is the God molecule to all of these

Hunger without discipline is gluttony at best.

Consistency with no direction will betray.

Curiosity and ego are like โ˜ฏ๏ธ to open the way for curiosity, one must discipline a biased ego.

Rather than work towards an end (becoming a successful AE) make the destination the journey and stay disciplined to iterating the best version of yourself in that moment

Curiosity is definitely number #1. To close mid market enterprise deals you have to be curious, consultative, need to master an expert discovery and you can only do that if you are curious. Find the issue, pain, etc. The best AEs are more curious then consistent. But I would place consistency at a close 2nd.

An AE is a mix of consistency, curiosity and accountability. Hunger is common for both SDR and AE. But an AE that doesn't do a curious discovery, doesn't consistently engage customers / prospects and does not hold accountability for where this deal is going - I'd say might not make it to the top 10% cream layer of AEs. hah!
