What is the best time to ask for a referral from a client?

Curious to know the best time to ask for a referral from a client in the sales cycle


I usually ask for it after the clients complete 1month of my services. How about you?

i wouldnt ask for a referal until the deal closes. and after that they talk with CS so its the only time that makes sense haha

I normally ask for it after guaranteeing that the client is satisfied with my services, I normally request or make a visit and I take 5 minutes to ask if they are satisfied with my work. I prefer to do it in person so I can see if the answer is honest or just a positive answer for politeness
