What salesforce data should I save before leaving? [1st sales job]

Do new companies ask for a record of what you sourced / closed?

I'm an SDR and thinking that it's not good practice to keep company data but think this is something that would be helpful for interviews or sharing with clients on Flex freelancing - should I keep nothing and just say it during the interviews?

Excel spreadsheet with pertinent data. Update as you go with anything that you’ll want to reference later on.

The data in SFDC belongs to the company.

And any hiring company that asks for proof is not entitled to see data that belongs to another company. You should be prepared to talk about your attainment, and being able to discuss the details should provide hiring managers enough information that you accomplished what you state.

All of this. It's something that needs to be done regularly.
I know someone who downloaded a ton off SFDC before leaving, and the company (rightfully, IMO), went after him hard.

It was a mess. The COO was a lawyer who used to work with our equivalent of the SEC, so I can't imagine it went well for the guy who left.

I keep a record of deals I closed and quota attainment so I have data whenever I need to dust off the resume.

I would keep a bragsheet. However, It is quite risky to get too much info from your employers CRM. (It is in the end their data)

Be careful doing that. Check your new hire paperwork you signed. That's technically company property.

No company you want to work for will ask you for proprietary data while you're interviewing. Document your attainment metrics & other notable achievements, but don't go as far as to download data that doesn't belong to you.

Yeah tread carefully, but definitely keep records of your accomplishments and contacts/leads you want to continue building relationships with.

Nothing. Salesforce data does not belong to you. Your quotas, closing % and $$$ you brought: these numbers should be enough.
You should not have to provide a proof screenshot to recruiters. So just the numbers, and nothing else.

I would only track a list of companies YOU'VE booked meetings with as a reference and only have screenshots of your attaintment % by month/quart/FY.

It's not just great as a means of looking back at work done but as a track record of relationships you've built.
