Which “tech” is likely to stay and be a lucrative career choice?

in my job search, I am coming across all sorts of "tech" roles, besides the common fintechs and adtechs, I see climtech, proptech, analtech (did you catch that ;). wondering which ones are best to get into these days and which ones to avoid.

Predicting the "it" tech career today is like predicting next season's fashion - always changing. Given your stylish background in real estate and fin. services, fintech and prop-tech are looking like your runway-ready picks.

Now, if we're talking money moves, keep an eye on AI/ML, AR/VR, data analysis, and tele-services. They're the haute couture of tech right now - solving problems with flair in a cost-conscious world.

And oh, don't even get me started on cybersecurity, life sciences, digital marketing, and all things data. In a world craving for tight security and juicy insights, these sectors are serving looks!

A little whisper in the corridor though: marketing tech and HR tech? A tad too mainstream, and might just have you sipping on a cocktail of competition and burnout.

Seriously, anything that is essential for running a business or fulfilling a need is going to be worth considering. Not every fintech solution is essential, for example, but those that are have staying power. So I don’t think it’s as simple as the entire tech vertical is good or should written off as poor; it will come down to whether or not the the solution has value and the ICP has $$$.
