5 months to go - how's that pipeline looking?

For those of you with a calendar FY (or close to calendar), it's just 5 months till EOY, again. Time flies, and so does bad pipeline. The one that remains though is the one I care about the most. Mine is looking a bit bleak to be honest, I have enough qualified deals to hit my target if I close on a 1:3 ratio, but barely. If one of the large one fails, I'm done, so I'm now in full prospecting mode for a couple of weeks, see if I can get a few new prospects and feed that funnel.

How about you? What do your numbers tell you?

How's your pipeline looking for the remainder of the year?

Cleared goal in June. Just pushing since there’s no cap. Grind grind grind.

We are beyond fucked for this year. Restaurant industry has been rough and 80% of my team is new hires because we are growing. At this point im building for next year.

Sorry to hear that man, I really am. I have friends in the restaurant business as well who are either downsizing or closing down, freaking covid killed it.

My fiscal year just ended, but hit my target at the end of our Q3. I’m actually starting a new job in September, so get to squeeze in another EOY… lucky me!

Summer is tough for sure. Once everyone's back from their time off though, things usually ramp up. Hang in there, I'm sure pipeline will appear in no time!

Strong start to this year, with an Enterprise Deal closing Q1,Q2,Q3 (75% of annual quota) plus a few other deals to come in. Still tight as we enter Q4.

Feeling nervous about next year as its been very quite the last few weeks. But that's next year's problem!

Q4 is always a surprise, can be great or it can be nasty. I think you'll be fine. Hang in there, and you'll kill it!

Thanks! Yes first year in a while where I can plan how much I should be making in commission and feel confident on what will come in!

More time for prospecting!

Losing deals is hard. Kudos to you for analyzing and unpacking the experience. You'll find success in life because nobody does this and it's a testament to your desire to succeed.
