Background: I've been an AE for about 2 years now. It's an inbound dominated role, and you can see around that companies no longer proactively want to buy tools. That's when I thought of using my prior experience to start outbound into accounts and see if I can generate my own pipeline for now.
I am being extremely optimistic and I think the market will correct itself in a few quarters. But till then, I got bills to pay. While a very tough bet because:
- I have lost my touch in outbound
- It's a nice-to-have tool I am selling and the market is tough-nut
- The tech-stack is a mess in my company and there are multiple tools I need to tally before I reach out, just to avoid duplicate reach outs
- I AM BACK TO EXCELS!
So I thought, what better way to document my efforts, learnings and outcomes - if not for Bravado? :)
It's been a while since anyway, so here's my comeback thread. I don't know how to create threads, so I am going to post different threads.
You guys can let me know your thoughts, suggestions and drop in some amazing advice as well! :)
