Any great cold emails recently?

Hey guys I am having problems coming up with new angles and frameworks to write good cold emails.

The emails that were working 6 months ago aren't effective as that anymore.

Would highly appreciate if you can share some good cold emails you've received or sent recently.

Needs to take some inspiration!

There's been some good conversation about that recently. Overwhelming consensus is get to the point, be brief, and don't rely on email only. Use the search to find the entire conversations.

You need to provide business value immediately. No cutsy stuff. No gimmicks.

Agree with all here. Time is the new currency, no one has 5 mins to read an email.

Include recent industry trends, results your product is doing to fit those trends, and a clear call to action.

“I’m confident you’re seeing some of this firsthand, is it worth your time to see how other companies are working through this?”

What does your personalization of emails look like? are most of the emails templatized and sent?

Follow Lavender on Linkedin. If you like what they say, create an account. I think it is worth it.

They have some amazing tips and have changed my cold-email framework which has led to a higher response rate.

Make sure your subject line is super short. It should intrigue the receiver but shouldn’t tell the whole story of your email.

Less is more. Literally 3 sentences or less if possible.

"Customer,

Referred your way regarding X. Are you running into any problems regarding this? We do this that helps that, not sure if we could help but may be able to give some guidance."

And as always, pick up the phone.

If you’re going to reach out via email… keep it brief but state why you’re reaching out. Also, statistically it takes at least 6 touches before someone is willing to meet with you. Mix up your reach outs with email, calls, voicemails, LinkedIn, etc.

Email marketing is just that - marketing, not sales. In the words of my marketing hero, Gary Vee - jab, jab, jab, PUNCH! Three out of four email offer value with no call to action. The fourth one offers value but has a call to action. This mix keeps people reading.

Listen to the data, which templates get opens and from whom. then build off of that
