Anyone in here use Koncert?

I'm exploring this for my SDR team. They have great G2 reviews, but most of those are paid for - so thought I would try and get some feedback here.

They are a technology that is an active dialer to increase the number of calls that your reps are able to make during the day.

How does this work then? Does it not rely on the person picking up the phone?

It does rely on people picking on the phone. Basically, it's a numbers game with phone calls in terms of how many connections you get a day. In theory, if your reps are able to have 4 conversations a day per 60 dials, could they have 16 conversations a day if there were 240 dials? So 3-4 agents on the back end dial through and immediately process over when someone picks up.

how do you know who you're talking to when they pick up calling 4 people at a time? i can see this being a big issue with less experienced people on the phone. first 10 seconds of a cold call are the most important, if you'd waiting 1-2 seconds to figure out who it is and then have to personalize the opening line this could get messy.

I’ve never used Koncert but we’ve always utilized a “power dialer” with phone systems we’ve used.

Was the dialer system beneficial for your connect rates?

The dialer wasn't beneficial for the connect rates... but it was beneficial because it helped with the number of dials. There are some dialers that dial out a few numbers and connect you to someone that answered... we didn't ever use those. We just utilized dialers that could call through a list. As soon as one call was over it would call the next lead. That was huge for us. Took our calls from under 100 a day to close to 200.
