Had a client fall into there auto renew DURING renewal discussions and at the end of it decided they don't want to renew but now are to late to non renew... I did not bring up the auto renew when it occurred as all buying signs pointed to yes until it got into hands of CFO who shut it down.

Call them first thing in the AM to get things set straight. Better to let them know ASAP and see if you can’t get someone from billing to help you out in giving them a refund or cancelling the invoice. Best to get in front of the issue ASAP

It’s not really on you. They signed an agreement with an auto renewal clause in it which is legally binding. Depends on if you’re willing to burn the bridge or not.
