Best way to manage data lead flow and deal cycles -- More info in comments

Getting hammered with calls.

Outbound efforts and inbound.

Situation:

Updating on every deal and call and report. Pretty much not possible. Back to back calls, meetings, and re-scheduling needed because calls go over and require more time.

Tech Stack:

Zoom info for leads and a good CRM

Not able to just enter data to the CRM after a call. Using mobile always sucks v desktop. Also see above.

Question:

What's the best way to keep this data managed. Currently, updating VP sales who ensures the info does not get lost and everyone is tracking on what's going on with pending deals. Done via text message usually as its the fastest and efficient, but still tough when you have 5-10 calls that need updates and you're about to hit the next one.

Possible alternatives:

Virtual assistant?

Usage of other software that will allow this data entry to be more seamless?

Suggestions or questions???

Clari has been a fantastic Salesforce overlay for our team, especially those on the road.
Unsure if your leadership is willing to spend or look at additional tools if they feel the current stack is managing the job.
When I was in med dev and going site to site, I'd paper all my notes and then sit down when I could, hotel/home and input. Time consuming and extra work, but it ensure I didn't miss anything.

Yeah, it sounds as though homework may be necessary for now.
Feast or famine in this role sometimes!

Being the restaurant with the line out the door is a good problem to have, until you can't wash the dishes fast enough to meet the demand.

I wouldn't outsource anything (ie virtual assistant) without the blessing of the company.

One idea is to try to schedule regular breaks during the day in order to enter in the data. Like 10-10:30am & 4-4:30 daily are blocked off.

If you're just needing to update the VP, perhaps a sharepoint site with a spreadsheet everyone can access?

Or just paste your update to VP into CRM

Take notes during the call.
Reserve an hour each day to update CRM.

Love to hear of someone so busy! How are you taking notes when you're on the call?

I really do think itโ€™s just a matter of needing to take notes during calls and being really good at it, and being able to transfer those notes to the CRM at certain times.

I would set up a meeting with your RevOps team to streamline the data entry/collection portion of your day-to-day.

I would also schedule some focus blocks to ensure you input your notes and update your pipeline.
Make sure you're operating as if you're running the day and not the day running you.

Scratchpad is the answer.

How often do you follow up with, and what data do you provide to accounts that churned

AEโ€™s - hereโ€™s a very client-centred way to gather information about โ€˜WHENโ€™ a decision needs to be made. Doing it this way will help you shorten sales cycles and build trust. Keep in mind - not every question I ask in this example is a perfect fit for every buyer, but should give you a good place

Any tools that help AE's ask and get referrals to generate pipe? Now what I've been doing is 'Ask'. Is there any tech that automates the process? Or any of y'all have a framework that works?
