Are you talking about performance reviews?
Asking a very real question about what an appraisal is, same as we all did at the time. But yes, seems to tie to performance review and pay increase.

Yes it was an accurate guess- I def have performance reviews twice a year and up for a salary bump next month. What’s a typical salary increase? It is that too broad of a Q?
Every company is different sometimes a manager will have 3-10%, I would recommend connecting with a senior rep to learn expectations and do your homework to say why you deserve x more.
Ohhhh really good idea- I’ll ask my AE as he and I are top of the board globally in each role. He’ll steer me in the right direction

That’s why I’m asking lol! Never heard of an appraisal before but if it means salary increase then there’s my answer. I’m up for one next month, I want 20% increase is that insane?

I saw someone post it not so long ago in the WR- only got 8% appraisal which I know now is a salary increase…

Also located in London but never heard “appraisal” either
It's not a common term at all in the US or Canada, so it caused a few of us to struggle to help the poster who had used it, because we couldn't sort out exactly what s/he meant. I'd use "review" or "evaluation" instead.
Ya I mean I’m a New Yorker and only been in the UK for 2.5yrs but my managers have never used the word appraisal- saw it on a post here and thought I missed a memo
Stick with raise, and you can absolutely ask for one as an SDR, but you need to back it up./
20% might be unrealistic but that really depends on your production and how that compares to others plus how much revenue those logos account for.
