Clearout Verification

Seems like all I have been doing lately is taking from this community, so sorry for wanting more advice. lol How can you tell I'm Canadian.

Currently we are with a lead gen company, one of the top 3 but not zoom info.

Here's the problem, because we use a email verification platform called Clearout, we are loosing around 50% of all the emails we export. And that is kind of crazy to me.

So here are my questions:

  1. Has anyone else experienced this high of rejection before while using a product similar to Clearout?
  2. If so, how did you fix it? Switch providers?

We are wasting a ton of money and trying to figure out a way to resolve this. The reason why I mentioned Zoom info is because we seriously thinking about making the switch to them.

My brain is kind of fried today, so if I don't make sense, tell me to go jog on in the comments. lol

Makes sense to me. You gather data at a cost. You verify it at a cost. Only to determine that half of what you're paying for is garbage. The fun of it all! Zoom is insanely expensive. Wonder if they stand by their data yet. Dunno. Good one.

They say they do when I had a call with them just now. How it works is if you have over a 5% bounce rate, you would need to send them the list to their data team and then they would investigate it.
But with them owning Neverbounce, I really hope it's not that high. lol

Probably anecdotal, but ZI's info feels like its been garbage lately. Have had a few prospects that I've reached out to lately, tell me they retired 5 years ago...

It's actually not that bad. 20k for 3 seats with 66k email credits, with engage, and can be broken down into quarterly payments.
Currently we are paying around 7k per year, and will have to get a couple more seats if we want to continue they way we are.

But, the other factors are the time saved not having to run the third party verification ourselves because they have Neverbounce.

Then there's the savings of not having to pay for clearput, which is not that much. Around 1k per year it looks like. Won't know for certain till I speak with my CEO.

So depending if their data is as accurate as they say, it could be worth it. Just 1.5 - 2 times what we will have to shell put soon with our current provider.

That's a good point. We should be more demanding with platforms. So maybe then they will get better. Jog on you virus ๐Ÿคฃ (sorry you said jog on so couldn't resist)

Or more demanding that we get actual replies from sales reps. Lol
We had to go to another rep at a certain company ( not zoom info) because we were getting ghosted. Ha ha

I emailed asking about the 50% of emails being crap and crickets.

We met with another rep yesterday, were about to get the deal signed then it got pushed back to this rep.

I emailed him this morning about a few hours ago and crickets still.

I thought this rep would want to get something over the line today but I guess not.

Sorry for the vent. Just is an odd situation. And I replied to the emails so they should not be winding up in spam.

You are given an account list with over 250 accounts (no salesforce, you have to work off an excel sheet), what steps/processes do you implement to ensure all accounts are being touched? How many do you target a week? Month? Etc.
