TLDR: CoPilot AI lied to me about capabilities, kept me subscribed after I had canceled, and refuses to refund the payment even though the subscription was unuseable/never used.
Alright, so sales stacks are getting leaner, right? So I thought I would sign up for an LI automation tool, since our call and email connect rates are in the shitter.
Signed up with CoPilot AI, and both the sales and CS person told me that they would have a workaround for a super basic functionality - a blacklist. Of any kind. That would allow me to remove from lists people I am already connected with, or that exist as a certain lead/contact status in my CRM.
We turned on the campaign - which I immediately paused because there ended up being NO blacklist function. I reached out and asked for a fix, and the advice they gave me amounted to manually culling my lists of thousands of leads to look for and remove folks that I wouldn't want to be contacted. I told them in a live check in call a week after the start date that it wouldn't work for me, gave them product feedback, and told them which competitor I was going with.
They charged me another $489 a month later, claimed I never canceled til I pulled receipts - but refused to refund the first month as, according to their TCs, all they have to do is turn on a campaign to lock in that payment. Forget the fact it was never used and couldn't be used, and that I was lied to by their employees.
Furthermore, they lied to AmEx in my dispute as well, saying that I never canceled.
What a shitshow ๐ avoid at all costs.
