CTA in a Webinar Invite

Over the next couple of weeks our SI Partners are hosting a lot webinars for a wide range of products, so I am going to be using this in messaging for all the "Follow up during the Summer" or other contacts just to mix it up.

However, since our partners are hosting these events. I do not have access to if the prospects signed up or not.

So curious how other people handle this when partners are hosting?

My plan is to email the partners a week out and the day of for the attenders so I can join if my prospects do. And include a reply to the webinar emails being sent to prospects, with a " Would you be opposed learning more" hoping to see if they reply "Yes I am joining and I am ready to buy ASAP because we love your company"...At least I can hope they respond that way

But curious how you all end Webinar invite emails, are you asking them directly if they signed up, or are you just emailing partners for the invite list. Just because if no one is attending, then I wouldn't plan on joining either

Getting the attendee list is critical for contact while theyโ€™re engaged. Getting the registered but didnโ€™t attend list matters too. โ€œYou signed up but you missed it - hereโ€™s what happened - hereโ€™s the offer.โ€ The unopened list too. โ€œYou must have missed this inviteโ€

And yes- invitation reminders beforehand. I know youโ€™re going but โ€œwould you like recap in advance?โ€

Fun project

I'm right next to my marketing team and what @oldclosersays is spot on from what I hear they do. For partner stuff specifically they put everyone registered, attended or not, into cadences for outreach and the response rate is extremely high.

LOL true - but they work really close with the BDRs here to get a lot of conversions. I trust the ones where I'm at and they know all too well my true feelings on their marketing comrades - I've hit their teams chats with the appropriate @GeneralCorpcontent so we never become too friendly.

Yeah I guess whatโ€™s stopping you from getting the list from the partner? Not sure why they wouldnโ€™t share?

Since I don't have a relationship with some, I dont always hear back

Are you on the webinar link invite? Is it through outlook?

A trick I learned, when you open the invite you can โ€œreply allโ€ even when you werenโ€™t the one who created and all the emails of the invite list should populate in a new email. See if that works.

Unfortunately with the one I just tried, it does not show the attendees with reply all or on the original invite I got sent

Hmm, are you doing it through Teams?

You should be able to look up at least participant names then try to connect through LinkedIn or other means to get connected during the webinar.

Is it possible for you to start building those relationships?

@Sunbunny31yes, however I have my favorites that I use as partners in deals So dont like wasting time with meeting with partners I know I wont use. So there are a few I get the attendee list easily however the ones I dont have a relationship with it takes awhile.

And since we have so many I dont meet with them all

As others said, get aligned with the partners.

Tell them you're driving attendance and they should be happy to share.

Another option is to use a CTA of: want me to send you a link to RSVP?

This helps 2 ways:
1) no link in cold outreach helps with delivery.

2) you can go to partner with names of people who registered.

Great idea with not including the link in the first email. I was worried about it being sent to spam after spending time on these emails

I'd plan to attend. You'd hate to have one of your prospect's join these that end up seeking follow-up from one of the hosts. Not saying they WOULD, but.. I would want to be more in the know on who is attending and plan for follow-up-- both before and after the webinar/s.

and also.. When the prospect has a question "remember when presenter said this" and prospect heard presenter wrong. Being there is a really good idea.

I join these webinars often on non-busy pays and usually something I schedule over IF none of my prospects join. If they are on, I treat it like a demo.

That why having a confirmation if they join is important to me

Iโ€™m curious about the anchoring with the negative cta. Like legit curious. Do you find you get more response with that than a better-worded version of โ€œmay I share more?โ€

Sounds like a fun project.
