dog in office..

I'm a big believer in wfh and the productivity that comes with it. But if there's one thing I love about my office it has to be the pet-friendliness part of it. Even the HR gets their dog here. This is my dog's second visit to the office and though she's still acclimatizing herself to the office surroundings, it's so awesome to have here here and me working at the same time. Such a relaxed Friday VIBE!!! Now I have a client call to nail, with my dog in the same meeting room. Wish me luck!

We used to do 'bring your pet to work day' in our office, and it was awesome. Mostly dogs and occasionally a cat. But then someone brought in their tarantula and pet day was revoked.

To be fair, they never specified what type of pets were allowed. We did have a guy that had a giant pet tortoise that lived in his backyard and I always asked him to bring it in the office.

Probably my favorite job I've ever had, they allowed dogs one day a week in the office. My dog LOVED it, and she would throw herself into her bag to ride the subway in. She still, to this day, will throw herself into her bag if I ask if she wants to go to the office - it's very handy for travel and vet visits.

Last office I was in was dog friendly. Bringing my guy in always made the day better. For everyone lol.
Our HR brought her 3 in!

Now that I'm WFH, it makes sure I get out for a walk every lunch hour and don't just stay locked upstairs in my office.

Thats awesome. I WFH with my dog. I don't think he is chill enough to go to the office. It's a border collie which is basically synonymous with ADHD :D

Loved the dogs that would come into the office at a previous employer. The two that frequently came were extremely well behaved and you barely knew they were around. I liked seeing them because my husband is allergic to most dogs, so I don't get to have one, and I miss dogs. (He likes them too, just is miserable after 30 minutes in a room with most).
The bigger company had a blanket "no" policy that I also understood.

Now I work from home and the cats and turtle are with me all the time.
