Don't change your integrity for a company

I have worked for many bosses in my career and have seen too often where the management pressures you to change who you are. This can come in many different ways. For example, the boss wants you available for forecast updates at 9pm. Or the boss wants you to call a customer on their vacation to pressure them to buy. Ultimately you will be happier if you can stay true to yourself and professionally push back against unnecessary pressures. You will be a happier person at home if you know you have not changed who you are to please someone else.

Always good to have this reminder. Without our integrity, what do we have!? The note about happiness at home is key as well - thanks for pointing that out.
Not too sure about how forecast updates at 9am tie into integrity, but that would be annoying AF.

Not sure if very late calls is an integrity issue, but I do believe in personal boundary setting, so I agree with the overall message.
As far as integrity, I'd agree there as well, but in my view that's more like overstating a product's capabilities or availability. Doing those things undermines your integrity for sure - and can have long term impacts to your career. Stay honest and true to yourself!
