SDR
These polls are a bit skewed in the sense that all of these voters are in different industries selling products to unique buyer personas. Another thing to keep in mind is that some of these SDRs might have inbound fuel or none at all.

When I was a SDR, I was looking at the 5-8 range with no Marketing support

agreed. the poll is definitely too broad. In addition, how many people in here will vote just to get the commission with no actual opinion or experience?

Makes lot of sense!

Plus a lot of people voted who aren't SDRs but wanted commish, so I think that even more so

I was an enterprise SDR once, and we would normally target opportunities over meetings. <br>So 3 strong qualified opportunities per month is what we were chasing, the meetings would be near about 6/7.

Depends on industry, ticket size and even meeting quality. What’s “enterprise” for one company can be “SMB” for other company. Relative.

hhhmmhhh! side question, but how did you train for rejection ? because I am sure for Enterprise deals (the average outreach/dials/touches) must be high.. no?

looking back if someone is starting out as SDR would you recommend them smaller orgs or enterprise?

It was quite the opposite for me. I was one Enterprise SDR with 7 SMB / Mid enterprise reps.

And my call numbers were least. Why ? - J did a lot of research, knew the company models thoroughly before reaching out. My reachouts were customised. I would really type my emails out, no cadences. So my average reachout were not more than 25 calls. 30 emails a day.

How to deal with rejection - It’s not personal. One person in one company right now said a no, doesn’t mean all doors close. You got to shrug it off. I used to be upset that I couldn’t get through. But rejection is still better than no response. ;)

Do you actively prospect now?
anything you had to unlearn after becoming an AE?

Depends on so many different things that those polls are entirely pointless. If you are in the enterprise sales game and set 12+ meetings a month for a product that costs 6-7 figures, you would be considered a god amongst us 😂 However, at a smaller startup with some inbound and a product that costs only a couple hundred bucks a month, setting 12 meetings is very possible.

enterprise sales game is what I am interested in aswel - is 3-4 meetings in a month for average deal size of (150k to 500k) Is that a reasonable performance?

We are selling a solution that is within that price range mostly on the upper side if not more expensive in some cases and our BDs have to set 4 meetings a month.

It all depends on what the qualification metrics are, your vertical, and the PMF imo. Hard to compare to others’ experienced

too may variables. The poll needs to be specific to verticals, deal size, etc. And also needs to be an option for the people who don't care the least bit about skewing the data and just want commission.

I think that it depends on the industry like mentioned above

Not a great poll. But as an Enterprise AE, receiving 5 qualified leads/meetings/mo is great!

It was the following criteria:
If meeting was with a F1000 Company and it was a director, you automatically got the BANT-Qualified payment.
If it wasn't, the AE had to "approve" it.
I got 6-8 meetings a month working under two AE's and the territory was huge.

Enterprise is different from company to company. Some companies define smaller deals as enterprise because their ACV is low while other companies don't qualify anything as enterprise under $1m ACV. True enterprise I don't see how it's possible higher than 6 a month

Depends on where you are and what you are selling.

depends on what you're selling. large solutions in a mature market should be around 5-6. smaller, transactional sale in a newer market, over 10-12
