Follow up calls post meeting to avoid Ghosting

There are many times when Sales people get Ghosted in a sales process as a next step hasn't been booked.

What ideas do you have to lock in a next step that gives value to the prospect?

This happens. A good rule to follow is send a recap email after every meeting. The same day. Outline next steps that they are responsible for and next steps you are responsible for. Then add the next meeting as a calendar invite to keep them on task.

Recap mails are really strong tools. Because later you can always refer to it.ย

As @Panda4489ย said, it can (depending on the initial 'cold' call) do book in a more in depth convo in which they speak to you, not you pitching, you want to find out if there is a need and if they are a fit for you. THEN, do let them know the process, they won't mind as they are used to it, put in the actual meeting for the important next step.ย

Sorry forgot to add, the reason for this is that initially they may be interested but not enough to carry on the convo, if you arrange a time to have an in-depth convo and they are sound and willing to chat away it speaks interested.ย
