On the bright side of this it should help cut down on companies fluffing their marks with fake reviews.

Does it really? That's....not optimal.
Also a seriously bad call on their part when it comes to encouraging honesty and real reviews.... This is a great way to get nothing but fluff. Buncha fluffers ...
Ouch. Not as bad as just showing the names but NOT a good look.

Tbh I have always held Glassdoor on a pedestal as an absolute grade AAA piece of fucking garbage shit. So this does not surprise me.
This can especially problematic when you want salary data but are currently at a small company and don’t want to did yourself by providing your real comp data and risk pinging someone’s attention at your org.
Bad fuckin news written all over it. Hate those fucks

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Glassdoor now wants me to take some sort of survey before proceeding. Never had to do that before. Not sure I like it.

OOo I'll gladly post some now, never liked being a coward and wanted to talk trash directly to the past employer BUT this is terrible for anyone trying to warn/whistleblow.
So, I read that this was due to the acquisition of Fishbowl. Fishbowl requires it as a part of their T's and C's and your info only shows in the backend. I don't believe glassdoor would show reviews with the users actual names but I am sure that many have already gone back and deleted reviews that would paint a bad light

Really where? Goes to show no matter where you post something, assume it can be traced to you
