Holidays

I have noticed that my sales and outreach has significantly slowed down this week and i'm assuming for the next coming weeks till January. I am now and was wondering when it will pick back up and if this is normal for it to be so slow.

Is it rude to call people around the Holidays?

I'd rather you never call me, so it's no more or less rude to do it around the time I want to escape my family after the 8th time listening to Baby Shark.

Oh babysharkโ€ฆjust wait until you move on to babybus. I will give paw patrol some credit at the very least there is a plot to each show and it makes it more enjoyable then just a remixed version of some damn sharks swimming.

Thank Ryan Reynolds that they are my nieces and nephews and not mine. I can turn it off when I walk out the door.

LUCKY...I got to wake up this morning and engage in a hearty debate with my almost 3 year old on why babybus is not allowed to be played in the house prior to 7 am and we compromised on some paw patrol...Tim Castle and The Art of Negotiation should take tips from toddlers.ย ย

Great point, I voted on "depends" but this is true. Nobody wants to be cold-called so getting called on the holidays doesn't change much. You might be doing them a favor and giving them an excuse to break off a conversation with the in-laws.

I donโ€™t think it is rude at all, also an opportunity to build some quick rapport with a prospect/customer because they can quickly ask about holiday travel, time off, etc and learn more about their prospect.

Oh boy
I dunno, is it rude to ask for just 27 seconds to tell them why you called?

Darn, I hit the wrong button and now I can't retract my vote.ย  I meant to say 'no'.ย  You're not calling them at home, are you?ย  If not, carry on.ย  ย If they're in the office, they're working, and might just pick up!

Don't call from Dec 23rd through Jan 2nd at least (depending on day of the week). I find that no one answers, and no one wants to be called.

You better care more about hitting quota than your prospects feelings

Pretty vague, do they have any hobbies? I always opt for experiences whenever possible (lessons, tickets to something, etc)
