HOT DEAL... getting cold ๐Ÿฅถ

I have not heard back from my DM in 10 days on what the CFO has approved budget wise (option A or B) and I have sent 2 check in emails but do not want to go full on needy yet. Typically up to this point he has been super engaged and responsive.


What do y'all suggest here?

Probably not the answer you'd want but I'd call the CFO or maybe just the financial office to see if they've heard anything. You can even tell them that you haven't heard from your contact and want to make sure they have everything they need.

Yea I might have to go full SDR on them lol. We also have a deal with their company hanging in the balance so I pinged my co worker who is the DM on our side to see if he can get any intel

That could help! Sometimes our CEO or Sales Directors also offer to send a "we can't wait to have you join the family" type email. I know some companies go so far as to send a gift? Sendoso is the big one I hear of but we've even just emailed someone in the past and said "hey, I know you're busy, let me get lunch delivered to you- what's your favorite local spot?" Now that could be harder with people WFH though.

I will say, I responded to a marketing survey JUST for the delicious chocolates they said they'd send me if I did and let me tell you, 1000000% worth the 5 minutes. Those chocolates were fucking GOOD.
