My old company (med device sales) and I re-engaged conversations around me returning.
Fast forward to yesterday, I signed a new contract which includes:
1) Larger territory (eastern US)
2) $15k base salary raise
3) 6 month ramp with a near 6 figure base while pipeline is built.
Lessons learned the last 6 months...
1) If you're contemplating leaving your current gig, have a conversation with your leadership at your current company before leaving. You never know what they have in mind for you if you DON'T ASK.
2) Job hopping can certainly accelerate your pay check, but I've come to find I don't need to make $200k to be happy. I value a stable company that fosters environments of growth, risk tasking, personal and professional growth, and downright giving a shit about me as a human being.
DM me if you're stuck, I'm happy to try and help!
