Impossible to find a job?

I was laid off a few months ago and am having a really hard time even getting interviews. I fix my resume, send emails to my future manager, get referrals and still nothing.

does anyone have any advice or know of anyone hiring for sales manager type roles?

id be very appreciative.

my most recent role was senior manager of inside sales.

Iโ€™d be posting the weekly โ€œwhoโ€™s hiringโ€ post in some time. Would include some open sales manager roles as well, depending on how many I can find. Good luck !

Would you consider a IC role? I feel like it would be easier to get footing if you cast a super wide net

Sorry to hear that! Looks like the challenge is getting an interview call.
Not sure which industry you were in or what product you sold, are you applying in the same industry? Not sure if anyone can share any referrals here (being an anonymous group), if you can share your anonymous resume, savages can help you with some feedback.

Call into the orgs you want to work for, show you aren't afraid and that you're hungry but not desperate.

I agree. Inside Sales is expected to cold call religiously. Literally do the job from the get go.

Find an organization you are interested in... call a sales rep from that company and buy them a cup of coffee... ask good questions seeking to understand their pain... then call the boss, present what you understand about their situation - get them to confirm or add to... present your solution: you.

Just like Gasty mentioned, better check the Who's hiring section frequently, you may also need to check Flex opportunities, good luck.

I feel you. Tough grind out there. In the same boat. I'm switching mindsets..instead of reaching out, "hi I want to work for you I'm amazing" maybe try for advice. "Do you have advice on how can I position myself to be a candidate for this job?"

Are you searching for high volume type sales roles? They would likely want you since it's Inside Sales relatable.

FYI, feel free to post your resume if you would like feedback.
