I don’t like doing this. This screams desperation to me. Confused as to what the question is though: are you supposed to be sending him a sample email?

What I would do instead -

Pick up the phone, and dial this motherfucker like crazy.

i'm in the interview process. I just have to send him a sample of an email sequence

Yea still don’t like it. Is it supposed to be an email in any part of the sequence or does it need to be the 2nd/3rd etc email?

I see "email 4" so I think it's the final in a sequence.

Ask yourself, if I have received 3 other emails from this sdr would I like this email
Also are you sending these for feedback or did your manager ask for creative break up emails

I think it's best to get rid of the stalker and shy line. These list off break up emails are super common now, so are approaching the gimmicky territory. Seen numerous Linkedin posts knocking them.

Yeah if the goal is to finally get them to respond, this won’t do it

I agree with Kosta that it sounds gimmicky, if I got one of these after ignoring previous emails it would make me think less of the company.

On the other hand, I do respect ones that are more classy and pretty much say “haven’t been able to get in touch with you, looks like we both have things that are more important for us to focus on right now, I’ll reach out in 6 months”

I received one like that when I was in charge of a project and trying to decide between a few different suppliers. I emailed him back to set up a meeting because I liked that he wasn’t pushy or trying to be cute

I don’t see a CTA here. Sorry but this sounds very childish too where you are talking about being crazy and claiming the other person to be shy. Just be straight to the point.

Has one of these ever worked for anybody?
Sorry, it's not asking for a response of any kind. If I haven't been paying attention to the first three emails (which I probably haven't) I don't know what you're selling or why I should be interested. And this doesn't help. The cute language doesn't hurt you, but the lack of a tangible call to action does.

yeah i suddenly thought of it and thought it was funny so I checked back here for feedback.

It's not awful, it's just been done to death and won't help you. Nothing wrong with some personality, but unfortunately, it has to be effective as well.

Less cringey versions of this might have worked 5-7 years ago. But it's stale now.

Hate this shit.
Break-up emails are for deals deep in cycle that are stalling or ghosting, and this is not how you write those.

My manager likes to push the ‘select an option’ break up email. Has never seen real results.

Breakup emails are a) ineffective and b) a fast track to the spam hammer.

I agree with everyone else on here. It doesn’t make sense to break up with someone you don’t have a relationship with…

Please do NOT send this. Do NOT.

You will burn this lead forever.

If this is cold outbound, put them in a nurture sequence or stop and come back next week

If this is an opp: “seems like priorities changed, let’s re-engage if things change. I may reach out occasionally if I see something that may be of interest to you”

Please don't. Would you like to be on the receiving end of this?
Imagine you're dating and you send something like this to someone who's ghosting you?

100% Depends on territory.
In the west this is overused and doesn't fly as well .
A better responded email is straight up
<name>...?
In India, this thing works like wildfire, india's yes culture and making it easy with 1,2,3 gives you like +30% response rate.
