Looking for some open advice here.
Currently working as a BDM for a start up in my favorite city in the country. The job has a pretty high base, with a commission structure that is modest. I lead the company in sales and pipeline and so I have general freedom in my day to day, no one questions anything I do, and possibly good chance at writing my ticket upwards, as this is a start up.
However I'm being offered a position elsewhere, in the same industry, for nearly double the base, and almost 2.5x the OTE including commission. The pay increase is obscene, however, I have to move across the country to a place I dont love but I could be fine with it. I would be giving up my location that I love, and also my high stature and potentially promising outlook, but for the chance to make massive bucks and go to a company with more structure and better sales, but potentially just be another pawn.
Any thoughts here. Essentially battling the dilemma of money vs loving my location and possible outlook.
