One of the biggest takeaways for me is these posts show it’s possible to set meetings with LinkedIn. I have really gone away from it and need to start apparently

if you do it right, it's the easiest way to set meetings tbh

Going to send all my prospects this picture with no words to let them know I’m coming

Engagement is the most difficult aspect of prospecting. Once you have engagement, the rest is much easier, at least in my opinion.

The industry I sell into is notorious for poor engagement, especially on LI. In fact many top execs don’t have LI accts or least not uptodate ones.

Another take away I’ve had is that you don’t need to be doing anything crazy.

This is a simple strategy + ask. Being human is a good approach haha

I think prospecting is fairly simple. It’s us who’ve complicated it, maybe to justify our/ our role’s existence.

I think insecurity/imposter syndrome creeps in a good bit.

You make 20-30 calls. Maybe talk to 1-2 people who both say no.

Easy to get discouraged when really, those 2 no's mean you're closer to a yes.

Thinking in funnel has personally never helped me in prospecting / outbound. Becomes all about X dials, Y emails, Z touchpoints, which in turn breeds them good for nothing dashboard managers.

Nice one, still using the Assume Rejection Technique and it's still working!

Are these LI posts the first touch points or have you already tried to email/call them at this point?
