Con job? They did fantastic work for a reasonable fee IMO. I certainly don’t expect to get a refund if I don’t land my dream job from it. Saved me a lot of work and I think they provided me with an end result that is far better than I would have done on my own. In any event, it’s a service that’s out there for anyone looking to hand it off to the experts.

First, they provide an abundance of detail in your current and past roles that truly showcase your abilities. They also structure your resume to include what is relevant and what is not as it relates to the role you are seeking (e.g. past unrelated industry experience goes into a separate section) I also had them write a cover letter template (outstanding work!) for me .. and finally, I had them improve my LinkedIn page. All three services (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile) are now cohesive and very well written. I couldn’t be more pleased!

Always best to put your best foot forward! Sometimes a well written resume and cover letter (and strong LinkedIn profile) are enough to put you at the top of the list when selecting viable candidates. All things (skills) being equal, these small tweaks can be a tie breaker!

$220 actually isn't bad when you take into account everything which needs to go into a good resume. Most resumes I have seen suck. Like 90% of them. Too much detail, too little font, hard to find relevant experience - just no though put into tailoring the resume for the job they are seeking.
And having someone who is dispassionate about your career take a look at your resume is always a good thing.

My main reason for working with them is that I’m looking for career advancement and likely needed some help showcasing my 20+ years of (successful) business development experience and how my skill set would be an asset in a leadership role.

I worked with a gentleman by the name of “Van Q”. I sent in my request for help this past Sunday and by Monday EOD everything was ready to go!

I would say the abundance of detail on my current/past responsibilities that showcases much better than I could have written my business acumen and skill set. After 20+ years in various levels of business development I truly feel I am ready to take on a sales leadership role. Putting my qualifications onto paper and telling that story needed a professional.
