Agreed. I’m in ad sales and this what we call branding ads vs response ads. No call to action is branding, which work fine if you eventually make a call to action through a longer nurture campaign.

The cta was a useless set of words. Just by me sending the email implies I want to meet them. Prospects aren’t dumb anymore. I stopped wasting the space and let them come to me.
Ok, by asking for time you are removing the step of trying to go back and forth to coordinate calendars, placing a calendly link in email is a CTA as well. just saying, but sure be aggressive with "what kind of Question is this." Good luck against Michigan next year...

...and also serious note: yes you are correct. But its more meta than that. I want to give my prospect time to think. time to consider what I am saying. I don't want anything to be a con. Just me solving their pains. They can come to it if they want.

I think you need to do both. Go ahead and send out your call to action emails but follow up. Emails are often looked at as something coming from a "nameless, faceless being". A voice makes your interaction human. It's much harder to hang up on a person than to simply delete an email. Just my opinion.
This won’t end well for you. You need a “learn more here” with a link, or “reach out to schedule some time to discuss” otherwise it is just spam. I’d like to hear how many of your emails get caught in spam filters compared to before.
