Crunchbase is typically a better fit if you're more interested in funding rounds vs. data and contact info.

What's your ICP / who are you selling to?

One is connected to Linked In the other isnt haha. All these sales leads/data vendors seem the same.

My thoughts as well. It all comes down to data for me and where itโ€™s coming from. Sales Navigator results are dependant on individuals and companies that have a presence on LinkedIn.

Sales Nav is really all I have used. Quick research shows many similarities. I like LinkedIn for info.

Sales Nav is what I've used for the most part. My understanding of Crunchbase it allows you to see how well funded an organization is vs. looking up individual contacts in sales nav.

Before I list out the 10 differences, what's your use case? @Bereal

Good question. Ideally would like to find companies that are a fit for our product and actively looking for a solution like ours or even considering our company that we are not aware of.

You can segregate this in 2 buckets :

1) Companies that are good fit (ICPs) - both crunchbase and LSN are good tools for accounts. LSN is way better than anything for contacts or leads inside those accounts.

2) Companies looking for solutions like yours - You need a buyer intent tool for this (for dynamically finding accounts whoโ€™re showing up in intent signals which you want to look at). As far as I know, neither Crunchbase nor LSN has that capability built yet. Zoominfo has it. G2 crowd offers it. Bombora has it as well.

Sales Nav is super nice to research a specific person, crunch seems to be more about the company
