Should i do it?

I started a job last week that I took after getting laid off. Not a good job, God awful benefits, and the people are 2nd tier. I should have another offer coming in the next week or two (hopefully). This company has an office stipend. If you were in this situation, would you use the stipend if you were going to quit within a few weeks?

Too much of a risk of it being clawed back.

Read the fine print.

I know. I've got my eye on one of those X chairs that are expensive as hell. You're right though

Definitely not worth the headache it could cause.

No, it wouldn’t look good and chances are, you’d have to pay it back with such short tenure.

That's what I thought. Nothing about it in my employment contract but I bet they have something in place

Maybe an unpopular opinion here, but I would have no issues using the stipend. If it is included in your offer letter than the expectation is that you would use it, regardless of what the situation is that you are in
