The end of Q1 is upon us. I'm coming incredibly close to my number at 95% so I'm pretty happy, but there are certainly things I could have done differently.
I'll be you like to post-mortem closed lost deals, but do you often reflect on missed chances in a quarter?
Things I could have done better:
- Prospected more to grab 1-2 smaller deals to fill that 5% miss
- Run my meetings closer together. There were a few times that I could have shortened the sales cycle but I didn't want to push.
- Lived in Salesforce more. We religiously use MEDDICC but it's still a pain to build out account maps and update each piece. I'm hoping salesOps finally gets an integrated tool for us.
- Made my SDR cry less. But it's their fault for not qualifying the meeting better. They only have FOUR questions to make sure they ask and so many times they just stick with three.
