Tips on consistency for a new rep?

I've started a new role and I am absolutely LOVING it.

However... we don't have quotas or set hours or any of that. Resultantly, I have had a hard time setting a schedule and my own personal quotas to hold myself accountable and really get that feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.

End of the day just leaves me wondering if I gave it my all or not. Not fun.

Any tips on how to keep yourself to a set schedule and make custom quotas for yourself?

set a goal you want to achieve. Count back how manny meetings you need. then count back how many reach outs. Then plan those spread out over your week and keep to it.

- Calendar blocks and respect them - Block out time usually 1.5 hours morning and afternoon to focus on specific tasks. Prospecting/ calls/emails, Opportunity updates, CRM management
- Don't think you are too good for something(kind of self explanatory)
- Last point, ask what management needs to see from you because you like it there and want to remain consistent.

Just wandering if you don’t have quotas, what are you getting paid - flat salary?

15% monthly in perpetuity on each account. I’m channel sales so I don’t get a salary, which I prefer

Yes! That plus the basic structure GDO provided and you should have a framework that will get you what you need.

hmm interesting set up!

I would look to see what the other reps on your team have done in the past. what did a good year look like, what are they doing to get that result and see if you can copy that.

i would also look at what key things do you need to do every day and when are you going to do them and put that on your calendar.

That way you know that each day you are covering the bases.
