9/10 they ghost because you didn't add enough value for them to care about showing up. In your calls and emails leading up to the meeting, focus on them and not your demo or the product, but how you are going to make their life better. If they see the value in what you offer, they will show up. If all you focus on is getting the yes, they will likely agree and then not show up.

The 1/10 is the legit something came up person and in my experience they will always reschedule.

Follow up with an email reminding them you had a meeting, give alternative times to reschedule. If they don't answer within 3-5 days I'll call them and email them again over the course of a week or so. I then send the Chris Voss "have you given up on talking about this" email. If no reply to that I set a date to follow up with them in a few months and move on.

We use HubSpot meeting links, so we have it set up to send people a reminder 1 day before and 1 hour before the meeting. If they still don't show up, I give them 10 minutes and then I ping them via the google calendar invite with the link to our meeting. Still not showing up? Ping them the next day, 3 days later, and then breakup email.

Do a better job of building the value of the meeting. Why should they show up? How is your product going to help them personally? If they're not invested they'll just say "yes" to get rid of you and then no-show.

use a success story with some possible objection. tell a story (success story) not just copy/paste a testimonial from your website.
