unlucky new SDR

Hey Bravado folks!

I started my journey as an SDR 5 months ago but its been an unfortunate spate of things.

My first SDR role got cut due to "logistical issues" 1 month into joining whilst I was onboarding and already booked a qualified high intent meeting.

The sales manager who hired me was supportive after that happened and his recommendation landed me my next gig as an Enterprise SDR but now the client has decided to drop APAC market and less than 2 months in, booking 3 qualified leads with huge enterprise companies in Asia I'm back to looking for my next opportunities.

I'm currently based in Singapore and whilst there are a good number of SDR openings here, I'm really looking for a good company where I can further my professional development and grow.

Any advice and referrals would be most appreciated!

Let me know if you need help

Keep your head up you just entered bad companies at the wrong time

See my posts on those two. I have sagas.

Ive joined many terrible companies many of which are not on my resume because of the bs drama and them not being worth my mental health or worth the impact it would have on my career.

Cheers

Wish I could help but I like most of them here am in North America. I can only suggest you to make a list of companies that you potentially want to join and start applying, networking etc.

@Crofton: It's quite unfortunate to hear this. So many companies today have little to no idea about what they're selling, or even doing as a matter of fact.

I'm not quite certain about the Asia / Singapore market. Do create a profile on the jobs tab (left-hand side), and maybe you find something there.

As others stated, keep your head up. It helps in ways beyond imagination and articulation. Good luck, savage!

I'd grab the first decent opportunity to help pay the bills but keep looking for that great opportunity you want.
