New SDR

After 2 months of applying and mostly getting rejected, I finally received 2 offer letters. One is a larger company that went public last year and is in person and the other one just went through series b funding and hybrid. They're paying me about the same in base and ote. Both Glassdoor reviews are 4.4 and higher and only 1 is on repvue. I'm not sure which one to pick.Any suggestions?

Use your SDR skills to find it out through LinkedIn. Contact a few current SDRs at both companies and take advice from them. Additionally, you can contact former SDRs at both companies to have a better understanding of the ground reality.

Also, don't go for Salesforce. Just wanted to put it out here.

Not really. One sells cloud services to a niche demographic and the other sells actually products to sales and marketing people at different companies

Always best to have the bigger, most well known company on your resume.

Series B is a tough place to be. Typically companies are going from getting a bunch of early adopters/low hanging fruit to the majority of the market that will be much more stringent. I'd ask them both about their training programs. you want to go somewhere where you're going to learn a lot and be pushed hard. I'd also ask them about upward trajectory. The best thing that you can do as an SDR is be promoted, then it's easy to move laterally. It's really hard to move from an SDR to a better role at a different company.

Did you have a call with peers? We’re you able to gauge anything.

What’s your goal - stable job or growth or both? I would dig more into finding that info on LinkedIn (profile browsing) and make my decision

What were the conversations like with the person who would be your manager at each? Did they seem like someone you would work well with?

Benefits? Often times those make a huge impact with similar looking offers

Which product has a larger market and better fit? How are their customer reviews?

What does growth within the company look like? Will one be a dead end while the other has a clear trajectory into whatever role is your end goal? - this one is important. Only be an SDR once and at one company if possible.

What company has the easiest product to sell? What brand is more recognisable? What company gives you the most growth potential? Where can you learn the most?

Those are all great questions. I’m not sure which one is easier to sell. The larger company has been around for 10 years vs 2.5 years. They both have a similar career roadmap. They both are expanding internationally and seem to be growing well.
