WFH Benefits

Does your company offer work from home benefits? Maybe a stipend for office products, provide headphones, discounts for ergonomic office furniture, wellness incentives, etc?


This topic has been weighing on me lately so I'd love your feedback.

My boss agreed to pay for a headset and he paid for a stand for my computer monitor. That's pretty much all I was missing and all I asked for.

True. I would have preferred getting a fixed amount of money to put towards updating my office and getting anything I was missing. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone whose company did that though. For my office chair, I just went and picked up the one I had at work when I was tired of sitting on a kitchen chair lol.

I feel like I'm always on the hunt for a good ergonomic office chair.

One place I worked for had a company come in that specialized in ergonomic office supplies. To this day, it was the best chair I ever had. I regret not buying it off them when I left. I tried finding it again but I can't remember the company. The evaluation was a free service and then the chair ending up being like 400$ (which isn't much more than you would pay in a regular store) but it was PERFECT for me. If you have a place like that in your area, I would recommend giving them a call.

They should in the very least be discussing the subject. I feel many are not moving fast enough and will be left behind by savages needs not being met. I'm one of em 🤨

I agree you are paying for the internet and electricity to work costs that were already covered when working in the office.

I feel very blessed. We have received two $500 stipends for office equipment. I was even able to purchase a router and modem.

We got a few hundred dollar stipend to furnish our home office. It was nice to get my space at home a bit more comfortable to work from.
