What would be your strategy to prospect a 100 accounts ?

As an AE my role is to close revenue. But my company pushed AEs to generate outbound opps to compensate our lack of leads within my region/territory.

I have a 100 accounts and a very limited amount of time. As a BDR, I used to fully automate my cadences using very creative components (short videos, personalised GIFs..) but I am wondering if this time manual outreach could have a better impact !

What do you think? How would you treat your target account list for outreach?

thanks

1) click on my profile
2) read the guide to setting up a territory plan and ranking accounts
3) dig in and do the research for your top accounts, send one offs, and do the extra prospecting. Automate the rest, and reevaluate monthly

Sounds like me too - I do mix of automation and personal outreach. Automate the outreach to the contacts who will likely be the involved in the buying cycle, and personally craft outreach to job descriptions who seem like the best fit for me to make a booking with

100 accounts may seem like a lot, but you'll burn through them fast if you treat them like you did as a BDR.  As Coors mentioned, you need to set up a territory and prospecting plan.  And you need to do better prospecting then sending out emails.

Your strategy should not be dictated by the number of prospects.

Would you treat 40 prospects the same way as 10000?

This is one of the few times I’ll point you to the Search Bar. Lots of good tips for territory dev.

Start by combing through a Geographic area —> organize companies by Market —> then Company Size.

You can create a big list of target companies quickly. If the market is niche or small the geographic area would be large.
