Dont take anything personally or seriously and trust nobody.

Approach any situation with a light heart and dont take it seriously, if someone bats you back or provides feedback, dont take it personally but grow from it, even if it was personal and finally dont expect anyone to do anything they say they will do. Not that people dont do what they will say but the moment you stop expecting it the better life is.

Get over your fear of cold calling and get into sales out of college.

I feel like a <redacted> being an SDR in my mid twenties. I could be an AE by now but young BTQ was lazy.

For me, I didn't even know that sales was a realistic option. Wasted my early to mid-20s on dead-end retail jobs. Got into financial services at 26, but man I wish I had known about selling software at 23.

I would tell myself that sales will bring you good days and it will also bring you bad days. On the days where you feel like you've gotten your teeth kicked in, take a break, re-group, and get back on the horse as quickly as possible. Sales is a business and a "no" shouldn't be taken personally. Additionally, ALWAYS BE CURIOUS. Hone your skills and continue to learn; don't be afraid to ask questions.
