Where My B2B/C at?

I'm sure this has to exist outside of the specific industry I'm in, and I want to connect with anyone else who sells in a similar paradigm to discuss strategy. I'm doing okay- but would love to do better!


I sell EdTech (Publising-- SaaS). My Decision Maker is an employee of an educational system (Higher Ed, K12, Trade, etc) but, they're not the actual customer. The customer is the student who pays for the licensing.

Itโ€™s fun- but itโ€™s like nothing Iโ€™ve ever done before, so Iโ€™m still getting the hang of how to beat interact with a decision maker who doesnโ€™t always have the best interest of the actual end user and payer in mind.

I've sold EdTech, and the end user was the student but everything was paid for by the board, school, district, or state.

(Pure B2B otherwise, aside from my retail days in the early 00s)

would kill for insight on how to engage instructors who donโ€™t want to change bc they donโ€™t have to (ie- lazy). Itโ€™s my biggest struggle right nowโ€ฆ inertia.
