No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
I wake up at 6:30am
I leap out of bed with vigour
I do my daily affirmations on growth mindset and the hunter mentality
Go for a 5 mile run
I eat my overnight oats with additional vitamins
I pray to daddy Elon and Cardone to grant me many wins.
I then tape the phone to my head to increase efficiency.

In actuality I wake up at 7, shower, walk the dog for 15 mins and then chill.

6:05am - wake up, tell myself not to be a little bitch (usually works) then Mindfulness exercise for 10 minutes focusing on allowing thoughts to flow like traffic, clears the mental queue from sleep and lingering thoughts.

6:15am - Shower with my morning playlist booming

6:30am - Get dressed and grab my cold brew + protein shake

6:45am - Read the morning M&A reports and Market outlook on Stonks/Crypto

7:00am - Answer emails and clean up tasks for the day

8:00am - Crush the Workday

1:00pm - Set the office on fire and walk out casually.

Wake up and write something for 15 min (can be to do list, gratitude, plans, whatever), gym, sauna, cold shower, walk the dogs, food and then work. I’m adhd as all fuck so the strict active routine in the morning helps me settle in and get 4-5 hours straight of work done. The writing is something new I’m trying since everyone tells me “don’t check your phone first thing in the morning”.

I wait for one of my kids to jolt me awake well before the sun rises then I grumble about with eyes closed parenting, while I try and find coffee. It’s the key to my success. Gonna write a 7000 word description of this process for LinkedIn influencers.

My best days:
-wake up at 5:15
-Coffee was prepped the night before so I flip it on (stovetop)
-read with coffee
-head start on breakfast before the kids get up

My worst days:
-panic wake up after sleeping through the alarm
-wife downstairs scrambling to throw anything at the kids
-dishes weren’t done the night before because “we had a day”
-race out the door to get to the end of the street before the bus leaves

usually a 50/50 split. Feeling like tomorrow will be #2

Up at 7, feed the cats, make coffee, check the calendar to make triple sure I am not supposed to be in a meeting, check email to make sure I'm not missing anything key, if something blew up, I'm carefully responding (but because I have not yet had coffee, I have to be very very deliberate in making sure I'm making sense), if nothing blew up, drink loads of coffee and shower, then to work by 8 feeling almost human.

Then there's the day I have a 5 am meeting and have to pretend as though I actually live on the East Coast and am coherent.

Why do you think you slack on some days and not others? Are there any behaviors/situations from the day before that impact you falling off that you could potentially tweak so you get onto a consistent routine?

I wake up at 5:30, straight to gym, make coffee/get my meal prep all packed up (I work in office), shower, meditate, journal, head to work. Once I get to work by 8, I give myself 5-10 minutes to look at my phone and personal shit like Instagram and texts, and then get after it.

I have been doing this consistently for almost a year now and I can tell you everything in my life has changed for the better by implementing these habits.

I did this for 6 months and can validate that it is 100% the right lifestyle. This summer I stopped and started golfing a lot more for mindfulness after work or before work (joined a golf club). This winter I plan to get back to the above plan because it really does give you a different level of energy that is hard to describe.

Do you keep the energy through out the whole day or do you need a nap in between? I've woken up early like 5am and I need a nap by 12 or I just feel burnt out.

Honestly I used to need naps when waking up this early (power nap in my car in the office parking lot wooo) but after waking up consistently for almost a year now no naps are needed. Just need to give yourself a solid few months of being consistent and you'll be good. I also am asleep by 9:30-10 so that makes waking up a little easier

My ideal day (don't always hit it, but most of the time):
- Wake up around 630
- Walk the dog (~1 mile)
- Meditate (10 mins), stretch (20 mins), journal (15 mins)
- Sometimes eat breakfast, sometimes fast until lunch
- Crush the day using Pomodoro, short breaks throughout

Daily standup at 8:30. Wake up at 8:29 and login to the call on my phone with camera and mic off and stare at my manager going over whatever for about 10 minutes as I wake up. Chime in only when directly addressed.

8:40 go fire up the laptop and the Keurig while I brush my teeth, coffee and laptop and myself ready to go at about 8:45 right as the meeting ends lol.

I am a massive night owl. I like my job but the one part of my day is hate is simply waking up. For the first 30-45 minutes of the day I answer emails, sip coffee, scroll LinkedIn, answer texts. Then at about 9:30 I'm ready to dive in.

I have no guilt about this. Inbounds doesn't pick up til about 12, and I usually stay on til about 6. I actually don't have myself book-able before 9:30 am because I won't be at all helpful til then. Even then I honestly prefer no earlier than 10 for external calls.

I have problems sticking to a routine. Some days I’m into it, some I’m not. When I am, I’ll wake up at 6:30, go to the gym, come back and take a warm shower (because absolutely fuck the cold shower nonsense), make breakfast, look at personal emails or social media for 20 minutes, then get into it. But some days I wake up at 7:30, make a cup of coffee, and then stare at my computer for an hour before I do anything worthwhile. It’s called *balance*

I wake up at 4am in a cold sweat from stress dreams.

Not the cold shower part but wake up at 4:30 for the gym, shower, eat, and head to work for the day. I find that waking up a good couple hours before you start the work day makes you more productive.

Wake up around 9-9:30. Laptop open and working by 10. Usually finish between 8-9pm - sometimes as late as 1 or 2am. I’m a night owl. I avoid disruption by working off hours. Top producer. Know what works best for you and just stick to it. Tried the 6am thing for years. Was a miserable betch. Still miserable. But less than I am waking up before the sun rises when I don’t have to.
